A Look at Harmony of the Seas

I was fortunate to spend a few days on the new Harmony of the Seas when it arrived in Fort Lauderdale. Being familiar with Royal Caribbean’s Oasis Class of ships, I felt like I had a bit of a head start on being able to discover the ship in such a short time. Knowing the layout of the ship meant that I wouldn’t spend too much time trying to figure out where to go. Of course, I studied the layout again before sailing to refresh my memory.

My number one priority was to experience the Ultimate Abyss, the 10-story slide on Harmony of the Seas. I can proudly say that with some trepidation, I did literally take the plunge.

Check out my brief tour of the features of the amazing Harmony of the Seas. Obviously, I am a bit stiff and unnatural in front of a camera. It’s so hard to look at the cold, unfriendly lens and talk to it like a friend. Talking to things makes me worry about my mental state. Next time, I will have to put a face on it. Enjoy the quick tour!

  1. Wow, that looks incredible. I’ve have only ever been on a small 1 night cruise before, and the Harmony of the Seas cruise sounds spectacular. I would love to try out that zip line and waterslide!!

    • The Ultimate Abyss is actually a slide without water, but there is also a water slide that you can try. There are so many activities on this ship to try.

    • The Ultimate Abyss is actually a slide without water, so no suits required. But if you like waterslides, you will also find that on the ship along with lots of other activities like the zip line and Flow Rider.
